New Traditions Elementary School Enrichment Program

The Shabbat Club after school enrichment program provides a place for children to celebrate their Jewish culture and heritage through activities and crafts that express the fun and excitement of Jewish holidays and lore, while making new friends and creating great memories.


Age: K-1st Grade
When: Ongoing every Thursday, starting October 19
Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Tree Frog Treks, 2112 Hayes Street
Pick-up is provided from New Traditions at 3:30 PM, children need to be picked up by their parents at 5:00 pm from Tree Frog Treks.


The Shabbat Club follows a hands on and experiential curriculum. This year we are journeying through the Jewish holidays and exploring Jewish values and traditions through storytelling, arts and crafts and interactive games and discussions.

In addition, each week at Shabbat Club children bake challah and enjoy a Shabbat party and snack.


Shabbat Club runs every week that the public schools are open, starting October 19.
This year it will be a total of 27 weeks.

Option 1
Sign up for the year: $490.00 (which is $18 per class).
This can be paid by a single installment check, CC, or set up as 9 automatic CC monthly payments of $55.00

Option 2
Sign up by month: Each month will be a different price depending on how many weeks there are that month. When signing up by month, the cost is 23.00 per class.

Thanks to the generosity of friends in the community we have established a Shabbat Club scholarship fund. Limited funds are available for partial scholarships. Please email Chaya at for details.
