Community Events

The planting and celebration @ Buena Vista Park in honor of Tu B'Shvat on Sunday, Jan. 24th was lots of fun and had 50 participants! In addition to weeding and planting, the kids enjoyed parachute games & sculpting mini clay trees. Everyone enjoyed the BBQ picnic and the gigantic 20 foot bubbles!

Families came together on March 22nd to package holiday gift bags for seniors. Browse through these pics to see the packaging & delivery of these joy filled gifts! After packaging the gifts, the children designed their own afikoman bags to use at their seder!

Each havdalah event features delicious dinner, havdalah themed crafts and the Havdalah ceremony.

What a nice Cole Valley celebration! 30+ friends and neighbors joined for latkes, donuts and a game of dreidel at Cafe Reverie. Thank you so much to Roger for hosting this event at Cafe Reverie and a special thank you to Ellen Holderman for making this event happen.

100 people joined Chabad of Cole Valley for our fourth annual Cole Valley Chanukah Celebration with Latkes, Donuts, Music and our grand LEGO MENORAH!

Several families joined for our first annual Model Matzah Bakery. Everyone got to roll and bake their own Matzah! and taste it.

Chabad of Cole Valley hosted an awesome booth at the Cole Valley fair. There was a giant Challah to guess the weight - our Challah weight contest had more than 200 entries! We also sponsored delicious cookies for kids to decorate with a Jewish theme.

On Chanukah, 25 adults joined party at Cafe Reverie and to package gifts for 100 seniors around the city. Check out some of the photos. We also have some photos of the bags being delivered!

2015 cars hit the streets of San Francisco with LED menorahs tied to tops of their cars, bringing the light and joy of Chanuka to pedestrians and drivers in the downtown SF area!

Chabad of Cole Valley's awesome draidel Menora cycle led a parade of bikes all around the neighborhood!
